Online course overview
The Master’s degree in Computer Science spans four semesters. In the first semester, you will commence with software engineering and enhance your understanding of mathematical and statistical principles. Additionally, you will acquire skills in the fields of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence in your inaugural year of study.
Moving forward, in the second semester, you will systematically address the design, evaluation, and utilization of algorithms. Also during this semester, you will initiate exploration into the topics of Cyber Security and Data Protection.
In the third semester, your focus will be on two compulsory elective modules. You will also examine the impact of your work as a computer scientist on society, engage in discussions about the latest issues in IT, and analyze networked systems.
Upon completion of your studies, your Master’s thesis and an oral examination (worth 30 ECTS) will offer you the opportunity to independently apply the knowledge you have acquired to a specific problem using scientific methods, and to present and defend the results.
